Martha J. Coulter, M.Ed., NCSP

Martha Coultier received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Middlebury College.  She

earned a M.A.L.S. degree from Dartmouth College and an M.Ed. degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education.

She currently has a private practice in Rutland and in Hampton, New York. Her practice includes individual, couples, and family therapy.  She has worked extensively with individuals with histories of trauma and loss, anxiety, depression, as well as ADHD and Asperger’s Syndrome.  Martha often incorporates mindfulness and EMDR as tools in psychotherapy for those clients who are interested in using these tools. 

Martha has also worked extensively with schools, providing counseling, consultation, and psychological evaluations. She has served as the Chairperson of the Vermont Psychological Association Ethics Committee and is currently the Chair of the Bowse Community Health Trust
